Terms of Use

Last updated: April 10, 2026.

English translation for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version is intended to prevail.

These terms govern the use of the website and orders placed via the configurator (standardized packs). For requests outside the pack / custom scope, contact is done by email (see Contact page).

Info: if there is any contradiction between these terms and a signed quote/contract, the quote/contract prevails.

1) Purpose

The online-affiliate website allows you to build and order an affiliate system setup pack (site, tracking, compliance, monetization, and optional content). The configurator displays an indicative price based on standardized options.

Special requests (outside listed options) can be made via the Contact page.

2) Acceptance

By ordering via the configurator and/or proceeding to payment, you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

3) Service description

Depending on the selected pack, the service may include some or all of the following:

  • Website creation / configuration (standard template, SEO structure, essential pages)
  • Tracking setup (GA4 / Search Console, affiliate click tracking)
  • Affiliate program/network integration (links, rules, tracking)
  • Content production and publishing (if included in the order), with templates and QA
  • Multi-language (if selected): structure + hreflang + templates
  • Handover: access delivery, documentation, checklist

4) Standard scope (productized offer)

Unless stated otherwise, the following rules apply:

  • 1 site / 1 niche / 1 language (your choice)
  • Standard template (branding + logo included; premium option available)
  • 1–2 light feedback rounds (structure/text adjustments, not a full redesign)
  • The client remains the owner of accounts and access (see Authorization section)

Anything not explicitly included (e.g., agency-level custom design, link building, ads, etc.) requires a special request (outside pack).

5) Process & timelines

Typical process:

  • Scoping: niche, languages, programs, domain, goals, constraints
  • Setup: site + tracking + compliance + monetization
  • Content (if included): production + integration + QA + internal linking
  • Handover: access delivery + docs + checklist

Stated timelines are indicative. They vary based on content volume, responsiveness (approvals), and external lead times (platform approvals, DNS, KYC, etc.).

6) Authorization (account creation / purchases)

To deliver a “done-for-you” setup, it may be necessary to create/configure accounts with third-party providers. The authorization checkbox on the form formalizes your agreement.

6.1) End-to-end process handled by E-Com Shop (default)

By default, if you tick the authorization box, E-Com Shop (publisher of online-affiliate.com) handles the process end-to-end: creating/configuring required accounts, technical setup and handover. The goal is to avoid configuration mistakes and deliver a “done-for-you” setup.

  • Account creation/configuration: Google, Netlify, Bing, GitHub, affiliate programs/networks (as needed)
  • Security configuration (2FA when available) + roles/permissions
  • Tracking configuration (GA4/GSC) + conventions (UTM/click events)
  • Purchase/registration of a domain name at OVH included in the pack (see 6.5) — without requesting the client’s card data (domain registered in the client’s name / registrant)
  • Access handover at the end of the service (or progressively depending on organization)

6.2) Client action (when required by a platform)

Some platforms require steps that only the account owner can complete (or require direct validation): email/phone validation, acceptance of terms, KYC/anti-fraud, documents, etc. In that case, E-Com Shop will guide you and ask you to perform the step on the relevant platform.

6.3) Information that may be required (examples)

Some providers may require personal/administrative information (anti-fraud, KYC, account creation, etc.). Depending on the case, you may need to provide (or enter directly with the provider):

  • Identity: first name, last name
  • Contact details: email, phone
  • Postal address
  • Date and place of birth (if required)
  • Company information: company name, SIRET, etc. (if applicable)

E-Com Shop only requests what is necessary. Depending on data sensitivity and provider requirements, data may be entered by E-Com Shop (with your authorization) or directly by you on the platform (KYC/documents case).

In some cases, a provider may ask for supporting documents (e.g., ID/proof of address) or tax information. When possible, these elements are entered/uploaded directly on the relevant platform. E-Com Shop does not request or store card data: the domain name is purchased/registered in the client’s name (registrant) and included in the pack (see 6.5). For services that require payout details to pay you (e.g., affiliate networks), that information is entered directly with the provider.

6.4) Access, security and handover

  • The client remains the owner of accounts, domain and website.
  • Access is managed with reasonable practices (2FA, vault, roles/permissions when possible).
  • At the end of the service, E-Com Shop hands over access and removes operator access if requested.

6.5) Domain included & third-party fees

The pack includes the purchase/registration of a domain name (1 year) at OVH for a “standard” (non-premium) domain. Other third-party costs (paid tools, additional services) are not included unless stated otherwise in a quote/contract.

  • Domain choice (name + extension) is validated before purchase.
  • The domain is registered in the client’s name (registrant), even if E-Com Shop performs the purchase.
  • Annual renewal is not included unless agreed (e.g., maintenance contract).
  • Premium domains / specific extensions: extra fee may apply (validated before purchase).

7) No guarantee of results

E-Com Shop does not guarantee income amounts, traffic volume, or SEO rankings. Affiliate marketing and SEO depend on external factors (niche, competition, seasonality, platforms, content quality, etc.). The guarantee covers delivery of the agreed scope (deliverables, configuration, handover).

8) Third-party platforms & compliance

Platforms (Google, OVH, affiliate networks, etc.) have their own terms. The client commits to comply with them. In particular, the client agrees not to request fraudulent practices (impersonation, fake accounts, bypassing rules).

9) Responsibilities

  • The client provides accurate information and is authorized to use it.
  • The client validates key choices (niche, languages, domain) within reasonable timeframes.
  • E-Com Shop delivers execution within the agreed scope.

E-Com Shop may refuse an order (or special request) if it involves illegal, misleading, or platform-policy-breaking practices.

10) Pricing & payment

The configurator displays an indicative price. The payment page corresponds to the configured one-shot pack. If an annual plan is selected, it is charged immediately together with the one-shot pack. If a monthly subscription is selected, it is set up after the order (by agreement).

10.1) Subscription (Care / Growth)

The subscription (monthly or annual plan) is a recurring service separate from the one-shot pack. It starts after the order, once scope is confirmed. The annual plan is paid upfront at the time of the order; the monthly subscription is billed afterwards according to the chosen option.

  • Monthly (minimum commitment): Care: 3 months. Growth: 6 months.
  • Annual plan: yearly payment upfront (1 month free), 12-month commitment. Services are delivered month by month (non-cumulative, max 1-month rollover).
  • Scope: 1 site / 1 niche / 1 language by default (multi-language: calibrated separately).
  • Care: 1 small request / month (≤ 30 min) + light maintenance + basic indexation fixes.
  • Growth: 2 standard pages / month (1 language) + light refresh of 1 existing page + content roadmap.
  • “Standard page” definition: standard template, CTA, disclosure, layout, basic internal linking.

10.2) Out of scope & special requests

Any out-of-scope request (specific features, large volume, advanced comparisons, deep research, link building, ads, etc.) is subject to a quote and/or time-based billing, after approval.

Payment is processed by a payment provider (e.g., Stripe). E-Com Shop does not collect or store your card details.

For custom requests, a quote/contract specifies the final price, terms and deliverables.

11) Ownership (site, content, access)

Unless stated otherwise in a quote/contract, the client owns created accounts, the domain and the website. Content delivered as part of the service may be used by the client on their properties (site) under the agreed terms.

12) Personal data

Personal data processing is detailed in the privacy policy (data, purposes, recipients, retention, rights).

13) Right of withdrawal (if applicable)

If you are a consumer and a contract is concluded at a distance, a right of withdrawal may apply depending on local law. If immediate service start is requested, an express waiver may be required where permitted by law. Applicable terms are specified in the quote/contract where applicable.

14) Contact
